Installation Guide

  1. Run the downloaded .exe file — it installs automatically (no setup wizard)
  2. Windows SmartScreen may show a security warning
  3. Click "More info" then "Run anyway". This appears because the app isn't signed with a paid certificate — it's safe to proceed.
  4. The app opens automatically and shortcuts are added to your Desktop and Start Menu
  1. Open the downloaded .dmg file
  2. Drag RESTORE Timer into your Applications folder
  3. macOS will block the app on first launch — this is normal
  4. Because the app isn't from the Mac App Store, macOS Gatekeeper blocks it as a precaution. You only need to bypass this once — after that, the app opens normally.
  5. Easiest method: Right-click (or Control-click) the app in Applications and choose "Open", then click "Open" again in the dialog
  6. Alternative: Go to System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll down to find the blocked app message, and click "Open Anyway"
